Established in 1983, the 450-seat Norris Theatre offers tiered seating with outstanding visibility from any seat in the house. The state-of-the-art theatre is equipped with advanced sound and lighting technology, managed by a professional tech and operations crew.
Building on the long-term support and success of ACT II, the membership has, after a brief “intermission,” become ACT III. The ladies of Act II and their gentlemen associates are excited to continue and expand their enthusiastic contributions to PVPA. The curtain rises on Act III!
ACT II was founded in 1984 as a support organization for the Norris Theatre, now known as Palos Verdes Performing Arts. Act II’s primary purpose was to raise funds for the Theatre. Since its inception, the women of Act II had raised over $600,000 through their annual Variety Show, Fashion Show luncheons, and more recently, Shop Till You Drop benefits.
Now, in the next “stage” of their lives, the members of ACT III welcome the chance to continue the camaraderie and community involvement in the performing arts by supporting PVPA and meeting bi-monthly to enjoy lunch and entertainment. They welcome those interested to contact Donna Day at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
